The Houston Texans’ sponsorship sales team needed an innovative solution to communicate the end-of-season return on investment to their top-tier sponsors. Their objective? To uniquely demonstrate their appreciation and, ultimately, to secure renewals for the upcoming season.
The solution was two-fold and included both a print element and corresponding web-based interactive presentation customized to each sponsor. The printed piece resembled the organization’s Gameday magazine and was customized to include details unique to each individual sponsor. The web-based interactive component followed the same content structure as the magazine, and also included video and audio specific to each sponsor’s investment. Similar elements in each sponsor’s presentation enabled economy-of-scale savings for the organization.
Sponsor feedback has been overwhelmingly positive for the Texans. Many sponsors commented that they have never seen such a well-done recap fulfillment report. The sponsors keep, and many display, their personalized magazines from year to year. This has created more than just satisfied sponsors for the Texans – it has forged loyal sponsors.
