Citation Oil and Gas, an established energy company, came to Spotlight Creative in search of a new approach to communicating their information. They wanted our assistance in updating their logo and redesigning their existing website. Our efforts would ideally provide Citation Oil and Gas with a better avenue for recruiting.
An analysis of their pre-existing brand and communications techniques helped us format the steps needed to achieve their goals. We executed a complete redesign of their website, refreshed their logo and developed a brand guide including a color pallete, functionality and styles. We implemented a Content Management System for ease-of-use, so employees could make regular updates on their own.
Since the client needed help monitoring their site, we installed Google Analytics to provide functional reports. By creating a human resources section on the website that can be monitored and updated in-house, we provided them with a robust recruitment tool.
Citation now has brand identity and web presence that gives them the ability to reach out to their target markets. Through our efforts, they have an innovative site for recruitment as well as a way to communicate their maps and locations. Since our redesign, the hit rate for their site has increased dramatically. Overall, the project was a success.
