We were asked to design a creative cover for Chuck Boyer’s latest book, Get Your Frog out of the Well: Lessons For the Global Economy, that would capture the meaning and theme of the book. Through our cover design, we wanted to drive sales and make it a widespread success.
The book’s title comes from a Hindu proverb about a frog and his need to see more of the world than he would from within the narrow confines of the well in which he lives. We began by determining the best way to portray the overall proverb's message through our design. Then, we implemented our ideas in a way that would be relevant to today's readers.
With its insightful look into how to be successful in the New Economy, complemented by the creative and unique cover design, this book has become a huge success internationally. In fact, Boyer’s book was recently recognized as one of the best-selling books of the decade in India.
