As the Principal and President, Kim leads the direction of the business, talent, projects and campaigns for Spotlight Creative. Kim's visionary communications insight is a critical asset for client brainstorming sessions. Her professional advice comes from over 20 years of experience in marketing and executive communications, branding, messaging, photography, advertising and corporate culture. Kim’s managerial and creative communications skills were honed at The May Agency, Lifetouch, Compaq Computer Corporation and Anadarko Petroleum before leading her own studio to success. She is a cum laude graduate from Youngstown State University. Kim is a member of the Greater Houston Partnership, The Public Relations Society of America, International Association of Business Communicators, HiMA and a 20-year member of the Kingwood College Graphics Advisory Board.

Geared towards the visual and functional aspects of art and design, Tamara is a rare talent who brings to our team a fusion of right and left-brain analysis with an artistic eye and a passion for ensuring a client’s success - whether it’s a multi-faceted campaign launch or an eye-catching website interface design. Tamara oversees the creative direction of the project, utilizing her vast knowledge of web design, with functionality, and taking into account current, past and future branding styles and methods to better integrate and enhance our clients’ corporate identity.

Writing is more than just a job for Patty; it’s her passion. Since graduating from Rice University, Patty has built a career in journalism, marketing and communications that spans nearly 30 years. With an eye constantly fixed on each client’s goal, she brings her creativity and marketing savvy to every writing project she tackles. Drawing from her experiences with companies such as St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Houston Business Journal and Compaq Computer Corporation, Patty can successfully execute a wide variety of projects – from employee communications and executive speechwriting to marketing print pieces and web content that works.

With more than 25 years of experience in the business world, Diana brings a diverse business background and first-rate managerial and finance skills to the Spotlight Creative team.  She has built her career managing the financial and business activities of top executives, numerous judges and company presidents in a variety of business environments - including general construction, aviation, political consulting and fund-raising.  More importantly, Diana's organizational expertise and rigorous attention to details make her a genuine asset to our team.  At our studio, she expertly oversees all the Accounts Payable and Receivable as well as a variety of crucial administrative tasks.

Darlene has over 11 years of experience in print and web design since graduating from the University of Houston with a degree in Graphic Communications. Her experience includes managing the design and production of projects for residential properties, oil and gas companies, healthcare centers and non-profit organizations. In addition, Darlene has developed logos, signage and directional marketing materials for the following airports: Houston Intercontinental – Terminal E, Boston’s Logan International and San Antonio International. Darlene’s work has been featured in multiple design annuals and has been recognized by the American Advertising Federation and the Business Marketing Association.
